 DOGR Guest house has 4 AC double bed rooms and trainees hostel to accomodate 20 persons.

1.   Allotment of rooms in the guest house will be on first come first serve basis. However, preference will be given for ICAR/SAUs officers coming for official visit.

2.   Allotment can be treated as cancelled/shifted, in case it is required for Departmental or VIP use.

3.   The room rent charges shall be applicable as per the status of the guest staying in the guest house and not as per the status who have booked the accommodation e.g. if an ICAR employee is booking an accommodation for a private person, charges will be as applicable as “private” and not “ICAR charges’’.

4.   Rooms will be allotted for maximum of 10 days, if available. Continuous and frequent repeated stays will not be allowed.

5.   Request for allotment of accommodation should be sent at least two days in advance in prescribed format either through FAX (02135-224056) or through e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) or addressed to The Director, ICAR– Directorate of Onion and Garlic Research, Rajgurunagar-410505, Pune, Maharashtra state, India.

6.   Confirmation of accommodation can be enquired from Sh. Manjunatha Gowda D C, (Scientist), I/C Estate (Guest House), on any working day between 9.30 A.M. to 4.30 P.M. on telephone no. 02135-222026. Further assistance if required, may be availed from Dr A J Gupta (Senior Scientist), I/C security; Kuldip (Scientist), I/C Canteen.

7.   Any damages caused to the property by visitor will be recovered from the visitor.

8.   Visitors should take care of their belongings themselves. In case visitors do not vacate the guest house by due date and extends stay without prior approval, their belonging will be disposed and accommodation will be cancelled.

9.   Liquor consumption/Smoking/Illegal activities are strictly prohibited in the guest house premises.
