A Janbhagidari advocacy drive to promote cleanliness in agricultural system was conducted through advocating sustainable agriculture, clean crop approach, good agricultural practices. The farmers were made aware about balanced application of chemicals, and made aware about soil and water pollution by excessive and indiscriminate use of agricultural chemicals.

A Swachchhta Quiz was organized among the staff, contractual staff and research fellows of the institute with an intention to create awareness about health issues arising from filth/uncleanliness.

All the office staff, contractual staff, research fellows and students carried out a shramdaan campaign for cleaning the office lawn, garden and adjoining areas of the office.

The threshing floor, storage godown and nearby pathways and near farm office of Kalus (ICAR-DOGR) was cleaned with the participation of all the officers and workers of the farm.

A shramdaan activity for office-campus cleanliness was organized and the office premises were cleaned. The litter collected were placed in the compost pit.

Swachchhata Diwas was celebrated in the institute with Shramdaan activity organized in the campus. Floral tribute was paid to Mahatma Gandhi. A Swachchhta walk was also organized to highlight the importance of day as well as the Swachchhta campaign.
