2.10.2025	3.30–5.30 pm	As part of the Swachh Bharat Diwas celebrations on 2nd Oct 2025, a closing program was organized, where dignitaries including Dr. Ram Dutta, Pr. Scientist (Plant Pathology) and Dr. A.J. Gupta, Principal Scientist (Hort.)/Nodal Officer felicitated the function and distributed certificates for participants in various competitions conducted under the Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign.
3.10.2025	9.30–5.30 pm	Under the Swachhata Hi Seva of Special Campaign 5.0, the ICAR-DOGR organized a comprehensive cleanliness program focused at Kalus farm.
4.10.2025	3.30–4.30 pm	As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva in Special Campaign 5.0, cleanliness and beautification activities were carried out at the ICAR-DOGR campus. Staff members and workers actively participated in cleaning open sitting areas, removing dry leaves and organizing potted plants to improve the aesthetic appeal of the premises.
5.10.2025	4.30–5.30 pm	As part of the Swachhta Special Campaign 5.0 , the institute team undertook cleaning of the water storage and its surrounding area, ensuring the removal of waste from difficult and neglected spots. Moreover, waste materials and discarded items from ignored spots were systematically collected and cleared, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment.
6.10.2025	4.30–5.30 pm	Under the Swachhata Hi Seva of Special Campaign 5.0, ICAR-DOGR conducted a campus-wide cleanliness and maintenance program by focusing on neglected areas such as farm sheds.
7.10.2025	12.30–3.30 pm	Cleanliness Campaign at outside the ICAR-DOGR campus at Pune APMC, Market Yard, Gultekadi, Pune by Dr. Amar Jeet Gupta, Nodal Officer (SBA) and team including Mr. HSC Shaikh and Mr. R S Kulkarni.
8.10.2025	4.30–5.30 pm	The cleanliness drive under Swachhata Hi Seva not only improved hygiene and visual appeal across the ICAR-DOGR campus but also strengthened in unity among staff members. The coordinated participation of staff and workers ensured systematic waste removal at the parking lot, main entrance gate and quarters of the institute contributing to the Swachh Bharat Mission.
9.10.2025	4.30–5.30 pm	The cleanliness drive transformed lawn areas of the campus, a coordinated cleanliness activity was undertaken at the institute by scientific staff, involving waste collection and proper disposal to maintain hygienic conditions and confirm commitment to the Swachhata, 2025.
10.10.2025	4.30–5.30 pm	Under the Special Campaign 5.0, the institute undertook systematic cleanliness and beautification work around the main building premises. The activity included sweeping, removal of waste, arrangement of ornamental plants and maintenance of lawn areas to ensure a clean, organized and sustainable campus environment.
11.10.2025	9.30–5.30 pm	The Launch of PM Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana and Dalhan Self-Reliance Mission at ICAR-DOGR, Pune was inaugurated by the Director, Dr. V Mahajan along with Pr. Scientists, Dr. Ram Dutta and Dr. Amar Jeet Gupta, Nodal Officer (SBA) and Dr. Rajiv Kale, Sr. Scientist.
12.10.2025	4.30–5.30 pm	Under the Swachhata Hi Seva of Special Campaign 5.0, the ICAR-DOGR organized a comprehensive cleanliness program focused at the high footfall areas near well.
13.10.2025	9.30–11.30 am	As part of the Special Campaign 5.0, cleanliness and awareness activities were conducted at the Gram Panchayat office and primary school in Shiroli village, Khed taluka, Pune. At the Gram Panchayat, awareness sessions were held on the importance of cleanliness and waste management. At the school, children were taught about food hygiene, proper handwashing and the importance of daily nutritious food intake.
14.10.2025	12.30–3.30 pm	The cleanliness drive under the Tribal Sub Plan was organized in selected villages of Ambegaon Taluka near Bhima Shankar, Pune to empower rural and tribal communities by promoting hygiene awareness of Swachhata Hi Seva. Local residents, villagers, panchayat members and institute representatives participated enthusiastically in the Special Campaign 5.0
15.10.2025	4.30–5.30 pm	The activities related to record management and campus cleaning were conducted in the institute. Staff members reviewed old files, reorganized office records and weeded out outdated documents to improve workspace efficiency as part of the Special Campaign 5.0
16.10.2025	4.30–5.30 pm	The institute roads were properly cleared by the removal of waste materials and discarded items from the neglected spots enhancing the cleanliness and overall healthier environment of the campus.
17.10.2025	12.30–1.30 pm	As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative under Special Campaign 5.0, cleanliness activities were conducted at the Health Centre, Chandoli, Khed taluka, Pune. Staff members from ICAR-DOGR and local representatives actively participated in the cleanliness drive, emphasizing the importance of hygiene and maintaining cleanliness at the hospital surroundings.
18.10.2025	9.30–11.30 am	The cleanup of the crate storage site transformed an unorganized and disorderly area into a clean, functional space. This activity not only enhanced workplace efficiency and safety but also promoted awareness about material reuse, recycling and waste segregation.
19.10.2025	9.30–11.30 am	As part of Swachhata Hi Seva, cleanliness work was undertaken in the institute’s farm area. The program included systematic weeding, removal of waste material, and proper maintenance of crop rows and irrigation systems to uphold field hygiene and research efficiency.
21.10.2025	9.30–11.30 am	As part of the Special Campaign 5.0, the distribution of pencils in the primary school in Shiroli village, Khed taluka, Pune. Moreover, children were taught about Swachhata Hi Seva initiative and its importance.
22.10.2025	3.30–4.30 pm	The cleanliness drive at the director’s residence reinforced the message that cleanliness and hygiene begin at every level of the institution. Staff and housekeeping workers actively participated in sweeping, collecting fallen leaves, and removing waste to maintain a clean and pleasant environment in the residential area.
23.10.2025	3.30–4.30 pm	As part of Special Campaign 5.0 under the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative, a focused cleanliness program was conducted in the rain shelter and shade net facility of the institute.
24.10.2025	9.30–11.30 am	The cleaning activity around the water treatment tanks not only improved the sanitation of the area but also highlighted the importance of maintaining clean and functional waste management systems within the campus.
25.10.2025	9.30–11.30 am	As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva initiative, cleanliness and beautification work was undertaken in the lawns of the institute. Dry leaves were removed, plants were trimmed, and the green areas were maintained to enhance the overall aesthetic and environmental quality of the campus.
26.10.2025	9.30–11.30 am	Under the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, cleaning and space management activities were undertaken in and around the storage structures of the institute. The work involved the proper stacking of crates, removal of debris and cleaning of storage interiors to ensure a well-maintained and operationally efficient environment aligned with safety and hygiene standards.
27.10.2025	3.30–4.30 pm	The cleanliness activity in the cold storage unit of the institute, supervised by Dr. Amar Jeet Gupta, Nodal Officer (SBA) emphasized the importance of systematic handling and proper storage of seeds.
28.10.2025	3.30–4.30 pm	Under the Special campaign 5.0, ICAR-DOGR organized a cleanliness activity covering the canteen premises. The initiative involved thorough cleaning of the dining hall, kitchen surroundings and entryway, ensuring improved sanitation and maintenance. The effort demonstrated the institute’s commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards in all staff and public facilities.
29.10.2025	3.30–4.30 pm	The terrace cleaning activity near the water tank played a crucial role in maintaining sanitation and preventing waterborne issues involved in sweeping, removal of accumulated waste and cleaning of drainage pathways to ensure a hygienic and well-maintained rooftop environment.
30.10.2025	2.30–4.30 pm	As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week, 2025 observance at ICAR-DOGR, an extempore competition was organized on the theme “How to Curb Corruption in various sectors.” The competition was judged by Dr. Amar Jeet Gupta (Pr. Scientist), Dr. Shilendra Gadge (Pr. Scientist), and Mrs. Ashwini Benke (Scientist). All the staff members and research scholars enthusiastically participated, expressing their views on ethical practices, transparency and the importance of integrity in professional and public life.
31.10.2025	9.30–11.30 am	Under the Special Campaign 5.0 for institutionalizing Swachhata and minimizing pendency in Govt. offices (conducted from 2nd to 31st Oct 2025), ICAR-DOGR organized a pledge ceremony and walkathon on the final day as part of the concluding program. Dr. Amar Jeet Gupta, Nodal Officer (SBA) thanked all the staff members for active participation in Swachhata Hi Seva and Special Campaign 5.0 programs.
