Brainstorming on challenges in export of onion and garlic in India on 16 Sept. 2017

India has been traditional exporter of onion and garlic. Keeping in view the rich potential of our country for export of both the commodities, The Indian Society of Alliums in collaboration with ICAR-Directorate of Onion and Garlic Research is organizing a brainstorming on “Challenges in Export of Onion and Garlic in India”. The programme is scheduled on 16th September, 2017 at ICAR-DOGR, Rajgurunagar, Pune to address the issues related to export of onion and garlic.

Besides research workers and farmers, traders, exporter, authorities from APEDA dealing with onion and garlic exclusively, BARC, State Agriculture Department, Marketing Board and other stakeholders are invited to participate in the programme and exchange their views and experiences. This will help in addressing various issues and bring out strategic plan for policy framing.
